The Unit for Management Support assists the departmental management with, among other things, operational planning and follow-up of the department's activities, work in the management group and the management team, coordination of work with lists of proposals, reporting of actions in response to the parliament's letters, and similar tasks. The unit is also responsible for the department's working order and supports the departmental management during organizational changes. The work at the unit involves contacts with the Prime Minister's Office, the Administrative Department, and other ministries.
The unit also assists the head of the department in security matters for which he or she is responsible according to security regulations, preparedness in the department, agency management issues, agency head meetings, and coordination of budget matters within the framework of the state budget process, as well as issues concerning crisis management plans and crisis management organizations.
As an administrator in the Unit for Management Support, you will work with tasks of varying nature within the unit's areas of responsibility. One task is the processing and coordination of cases regarding the disclosure of public documents within the unit's areas of responsibility. You will also work with other coordination issues at the unit, such as orders from political leadership, lists of proposals, reporting of actions in response to the parliament's letters, and similar tasks.
In matters concerning the processing and coordination of cases regarding the disclosure of public documents, you will handle disclosure cases within the unit's areas of responsibility under the guidance of a designated manager and serve as the contact person for the department's units and other parts of the Government Offices.

Your background
We are looking for someone with an academic degree relevant to the assignment, such as political science or law. You have relevant experience from administrative tasks in state operations and knowledge of the regulations concerning public documents as well as transparency and confidentiality.
It is an advantage if you have experience working in the Government Offices or another politically governed organization. Experience in applying transparency and confidentiality regulations and knowledge of the Government Offices' organization and working methods is also a plus.
Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish is a requirement for the position.

The employment is a permanent position that begins with a 6-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible by agreement. A security clearance will be conducted before a decision on employment is made.
